    Any practicing Catholics between the ages of 18-28 who is not married.

  • When can I apply?

    We will soon be taking applications for the year 2026/2027

  • Do I have to be Catholic?

    Yes, NET Ministries Scotland is a Catholic ministry that upholds the teachings of the Catholic Church.

  • What does serving with NET involve?

    You will be on a team of 10 missionaries running retreats for Catholic schools and parishes for young people between the ages of 11-18.

    As a missionary, you will learn life long skills in many areas including: spiritual formation, prayer life, authentic Christian relationships, leadership skills, and public speaking skills.

  • What is the timeline of the 2025/2026 NET year?

    13th August - 5 week intensive training with NET USA in West St. Paul, MN.

    14th September - Orientation training in the Highlands of Scotland

    26th September - Begin ministry

    13th December - Christmas Break

    3rd January - January training

    6th April - Easter Break

    24th May - Wrap Up week

    30th May - Thanksgiving Mass and Closing Banquet.

  • Fundraising

    Each non UK missionary is asked to fund raise a minimum of £8,000/$10,000. You will be given the support and resources to achieve this. Flights to and from Minnesota, visas, medical cover, food, accommodation and a monthly stipend of at least £110/$125 are provided by NET Scotland.

    UK and Ireland missionaries are asked to fund raise a minimum of £7,000 as they do not need Visa and medical cover, the flights, food, accommodation and stipends are still provided
